Knowing too much can make you miserable.  I want to go back to being blind and stupid.

You know much if you are certain you know that your knowledge is nothing in comparison.

Welcome to this forum Kristian! I myself am to, new here as well.

I don't know enough at all... saying that though knowing what I do know tends to complicate simple conversation when I dialogue where I would only have to say yes.
I call it random fact overload. It just spills out over the sides... lol

If we take Socrates' opinion on the subject of knowledge then it is impossible to know too much since there will always be an infinite more number of things to know :).
An illusion is an illusion.  The key difference between the two is that one is limited by time and the other by perception.

I am a big fan of believing that thw right information will present itself and if we forget something important that was necessary that it would present itself again.

For the rest I'm just curious and read heaps.

IMO it's not 'how much' one knows, but rather the quality of what one knows that's important.

There's a happy medium I think. Sometimes it's best not to know all the facts until you really need to. "Ignorance is bliss" in some circumstances is not a bad thing.

:D Yes the problem is in quantity and quality of information. That I agree. Especialy when one forgets vital information/s... and it's aware of that. Wich personaly pises me. Ignorance is bliss to some extent.

I really can't see any one knowing too much , I'd opt for not knowing enough, no offence meant. :innocent:
I do not hold with the saying 'ignorance is bliss' at all.
Nor do I find that 'knowing too much can make you miserable'.

I find when i am miserable i need to remove the veils of ignorance which fog and confuse, as smoke and mirrors are the actual causation of the unhappiness.
I have only found understanding and the lack of ignorance to be where i find peace, bliss and acceptance live.

I have found, it true for me anyway that....... 'The truth will set you free'.
I agree with socrates about a lot of things such as 'the only good is knowledge and the only evil ignorance'. And well, many more..... May I suggest, checking his works out if you haven't already.

Also...'The only true wisdom is knowing I know nothing' or 'The more I learn the less I know,' whichever.... Words to that effect.
To some this may seem a contradiction and I can hear the nay sayers with their, 'You can't have it both ways,' Boll*cks. Yet, I have found that you can....As it is not an either or situation...so little in life is.
Don't get stuck in the law of two. The thorns of truth will snag if you don't keep on making enquiry....Even upon the things we can be so sure and certain of. As there is always more to glean even of the things in life one feels are crystalline in their knowing......But, that's just me

A wise man once said, "I know one thing, that I know nothing". -Socrates. Knowing that you know nothing leads to knowledge. Trust me. I know all about these things ;) jk

Socrates is/was wery smart.  :)
Problem ocurres when you know you know nothing.. that you get trickle of knowing in the most inapropriate time. Or maybe it is the mirrors that distort your knowing.
