It is one of the best shows that Sci-fi channel has to offer, I think it expands our mind for new possibilities and creates ideas for future scientists to strive for. Akin to Star Trek ideas, Eureka is ingenious when coming up with plausible and maybe applications for future technology that could be developed. Even though it is an Comedy/Adventure/Drama/Sci-Fi, it is the most amazing show I ever encountered that makes me laugh, cry, and jump with joy. For that from the Sci-fi to continue the series, it makes me excited and happy.

So my main question, is there any other Eureka fans out there?
A man's ethical behaviour should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death. - Albert Einstein

Eureka fan here.  I love the series, got my brother and his partner hooked on the series too.  Unfortunately the show has been axed.  Fortunately they gave the series creators plenty of notice (current filming Season 5, plus six episodes of Season 6) so I doubt they'll end with a cliffhanger that will obviously never come.

I saw the first couple of episodes,... Its more a show for kids I believe.
I still await the compelling Exhibit A.

In which case you should have watched more than the first couple.  The first episodes (particularly the pilot) had the writers still trying to really find their feet.  The writing towards the second half of Season 1 began to find rhythm, and just kept building on what they had learned and just kept getting better and better and better.  Now it is one of my favourite sci-fi shows of all time.

And sure, the show isn't exclusive to adults and can be enjoyed by kids also, but I would never describe it as "more a show for kids".

I love it!!! It's very original and I hope they have reruns because I've missed a lot of them.
