Well..there is some theory I read about that our "souls" (if they are real) are actually fragmented into many pieces and that each piece lives its own separate life elsewhere...usually on other worlds/dimensions/universes/etc.
Some think that each soul "fragment sometimes relays relevant bits of info to the other fragments..like how the brain feeds relevant info to other areas of itself.
Some even think that this is how some were able to come up with ideas/inventions and concepts that seem way ahead of the times for which that particular person lives in.
Like I said it is merely a idea and there is no proof either way.
