There are of course still many great things to be found, and we do not need crackpots to make them up.

And... being a skeptic IS having an open mind. I think many equate skepticism with cynicism.

But you are both a skeptic AND a cynic... this is why everybody likes you :innocent:

I thought the whole point of Ouija is that it was a board game, for fun? Is it so powerful that mentioning it in jest can cause trouble?
Oh dear! I knew I should have put an emoticon at the end of my post ......... I was joking because my name is Ouija Ouija; I was pretending that he was talking about ME, not a ouija BOARD :hmm:

I used to really get my ouija all worked up and bothered. I knew all the special spots, top to bottom, left to right and whispered sweet things that made the room shake. We'd do it all night long. Then I grew board and traded my ouija for a six pack. :unsure2:

It has no power at all.

All power it might have is in the powerful imagination of those who believe in it.

I was already skeptical on this subject (there is more power in a game of 'Operation' due to the batteries), Thanks :tu:

Lol, you made me smile and blush at the same time. I was hoping you had a good story about the power of Ouija (also due to your name) that I could question but I tripped myself up. Sorry for calling you out :)

I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything.

I think we have to be careful here ........ Abramelin is not all-knowing ......

Yes, I do have a good story about ....... hmm, perhaps not the 'power' of the ouija board but more it's function as a 'portal'.

I like your honesty Abramelin.    I guess the transition from "there"  to  "here"  is called learning?  It's an individual as well as a collective process?   Our understanding of the physical universe is still limited on the micro and macro scale .
Our knowledge of earth's and our history,  is an ongoing process as well.   Not sure what my point is, other than there is still much to learn!   :)

Some of us actually got it.

I would prefer it if you didn't mention in public that you had 'played around ............. in fun ............ with Ouija'. Thank you.

Why? I had a good time....  ;)

I believed in a lot during my teen years. UFOs, alien abductions, bigfoot, lake monsters, just to name a few. After doing more research and some logical thinking about these subjects I have become very skeptical. I still hope there are bigfoot, lake monsters, and alien visitations, but now it is just hope, not true belief.

Nothing would make me more excited then having real proof of aliens having lunch with bigfoot, inside an intergalactic spacecraft, while being served by nessie!

I was rather opposite. I was playing cynical. I was sceptical about everthing. Then I started to questioned things and I notice holes in provided explainations.

Abe, hang in there.. the only downside to keeping an open mind is that dirt tends to gather in your cranial crevices!!!
Thats why its good to listen to heavy metal once in a while...it blows your mind (clean)!!
