Some may have already seen the BBC i-player videos included in the article but i thought id put them up anyway  just to celebrate National Insect Week....Butterfly bounty is worth a watch imo

Going to have to watch some of these, not s clued up on insects as I am on most mammals, reptiles and fish etc.

Everyone should bring a praying mantis home at least once, watch it watch you, and feed it and watch it eat, etc. Then of course release it.
They are one of most fascinating insects to observe, imo.

I <3 Insects!

P.S. The kids and I observed a mantis for three days. We released it back where we found it. In seconds in swooped a mockingbird, grabbed it, and beat it to death in the street, as my little ones watched with their jaws on the ground.
Sad but life.

HAHAHAHAHA, that's a shame but it is funny. I guess they needed to learn how nature works, even if it was a bit harsh. lol
