Wonder if croc meat is any good.

It is delicious.

In the article:

"He said he saw a larger crocodile escape when Lolong was captured, and villagers remain wary of fishing there at night. Another team of hunters has been formed and he is seeking government permission to start hunting for the escaped crocodile."

I'm sure it's edible. Cajuns in the swamps of Loiusianna eat gator. The tail is the best part.
but you want to trim the fat off or it will make the meat taste horrible. Native Americans used
gator fat to repel mosquitos.

But to much skepticism can make you narrow minded to extraordinary possibilities.

What a croc(k)!

I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to show me where the hell Helen of Annoy has been for the past couple of months.

Don't forget width too, that's basically you 8 times...

I would go for weight, but I don't want to get personal ;)

Take that Australia! Seriously, salt-water crocs are monsters, I can not imagine what this one looked like in its habitat.

It would seem that Lolong has adapted to capture. The stress of capture is usually tougher on the big ones (oddlyP and there were concerns as to weather he would make it.

I showed my son this Croc, then we got the tape measure out to give him an idea of how big it is. Our tape measure only goes to 5 meters and that's big enough let alone adding the extra 2 meters on top. When you mark out how big this thing is its frightening, It went from the kitchen, down the hallway to the front door (not that that means anything to you lot). If you have got a tape measure handy give it a go...
