I've never been a huge zombie fan to be honest, I loved 28 days later and 28 weeks later for there gritty realism. The walking dead is good though, but more because of the acting and story etc.
28 Days Later is great (not so keen on 28 Weeks Later, but looking forward to 28 Months Later

), those running zombies add a whole new dimension to the Zombie flick. I love The Walking Dead too, the character interaction can be awesome but at other times makes me want to scream (or just kill Lori or Carl), and get back to surviving the Walkers. Looking forward to Season 3.
I like the way they both begin with the lead role waking up in the hospital not knowing what has happened and we watch them learn about the new world.
