Archaeologists say they have found a complete skeleton buried beneath the floor of an abandoned nunnery in Florence, Italy, which might belong to Lisa Gherardini, the woman believed to have inspired Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
Wow, really? All that work just to animate a real picture of her. Look guys, she was buried beneath concrete, y'all should have just left there to rest in peice. We got other problems to solve, such as preventing global warming and much more. Lol!
And if, after months of research and reconstruction, countless thousands of Lyra (sp?) spent, they decide that these are indeed the bones of a woman who may or may not have been the inspiration for an old painting....then what?
i think the mona lisa was da vinci's self portrait in female form. i don't believe it is a painting of a woman. there is nothing womanly about her.
also, as another poster already said, so if it is her skeleton, so what? big woop dee doo
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
