It'll probably end up being like the Scroud of Turin. Some will believe and some skeptic.

Its the Bone o' Lisa!

I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. There's no mystical energy field that controls my destiny. Anyway, it's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

They should just leave the bones where they are. What if I dug up his moms bones and started trying to reconstruct the face?

Exactly.

Cure cancer already! Then go looking for bones!
Totally different feild of science. Archaeologists and aanthropologists couldn't help cure cancer even if they wanted to.

Well, they plan to do DNA tests to see if it is Lisa's bones as apparently she had children. It was quite common in the old days for widows to sometimes enter a convent, especially if they had a daughter or other relative in one.,or they gave donations to the csisters.  I guess with all the interest in Da Vinci, they decided to go after the Mona Lisa.

Damnit you took my response! :P

'A phantom,' said my Uncle Mycroft, who had just materialised, 'is essentially a heteromorphic wave pattern that gains solidity when the apparition converts thermal energy from the surroundings to visible light. It's a fascinating process and I'm amazed no one has thought of harnessing it - a holographic TV that could operate from the heat given off by an average-size guinea pig.' ~ First Among Sequels, Jasper Fforde
