Well obviously they live on depths of 250-500+ meters that's why they're bioluminescent, maybe something scared them.....

I would love a tank with stuff like this. I love cuttlefish .They are amazing .
Some people do keep them as pets .Even a small tank cor one,is huge,but I think they need space .unless I could a whole wall rank ,I would feel as if I was torturing them,keeping them in such a small space .
