Okay so im driving home with my Mom, and Sister, from seeing my Grandpa at Waterport,NY. were almost Home and all of a sudden i notice this Big light in the Sky. To me it didn't Look like a Normal Plane even though it had some of the lights on it that a normal commerical airliner would have. The reason why i didn't think it was a airliner was because it was kinda small, and it was flying really close to the Throughway. Now i call this a UFO because it is something that I Didn't recognize as a Normal Object in the Sky. Now another reason why i thought it might be a UFO is because it flew over us, and the light dimmed to the point where i could get a good look at the craft even though it was Night time. And even then i couldn't determine what it was. I just wish i had a camera to Photograph it.(My ipod Touch didnt have one its one of the older models). I mean the area we were in i have NEVER seen anything like this. In fact i think its illegal to be flying this low to the ground as they were.

Now i have been a Paranormal enthusist for quit some time now. But i have Never seen anything like this before. My Mom was the one Driving but she was on the phone and couldnt care less about it, i kept on trying to tell her to look at the sky and tell me wtf that thing is. But my Sister said she didn't recognize it either. I am also pretty positive that it wasn't a Helicopter either as it flew over us to the point where i could get a good look at it. And i still couldnt recognize the object. Also another fact is that it was moving pretty slow to. I'm just so Mad that i didn't get a Picture of it. i feel it was a guine UFO.

Welcome to the club.  You're not alone, believe me.  Once you see one, it tends to alter your worldview to some degree.  Those who haven't seen one will never really understand.

What attempts, if  any, have you made to investigate the sighting before arriving at the conclusion that its a genuine UFO?
Who is the skeptic: the realist who won't accept belief, or the believer who won't accept reality?

"Genuine" UFO??

All it really takes to put a UFO stamp on something in the air, is that you cant identify it.

Unless, of course, steve meant craft made by ET, when he wrote UFO?
I still await the compelling Exhibit A.

There is a vast difference between something being unidentifed at the time of the sighting and being unidentifiable after due objective investigation.

It was Yellow which is why it caught my attention. It was also over a small little lake to, which we have passed a thousand times before. Both day, and Night and i have never seen anything like this before. And now that you mention it didn't make any noise either. Me writing this is only a day old so its still fresh in my head. Considering we were on the throughway i am sure other people noticed it to but no one stoped including us. And come to think of it was moving pretty dam slow to which is why i thought it was wired. Not to mention when i got a better look at it it wasn't a plane even though it had the nighttime lights on it.

Now i may have been a enthusist but i never let that cloud my reasoning in fact it helped me look for other explainations. And one of other explainations of what it might be is either a Hang Glider, or one of those giant blimbs.

True.

But this time (as countless times before) all we had to go on was "Big light in the Sky" and "i couldn't determine what it was",... Sounds like the regular dead end UFO to me.

I have heard many things about what they might be, such as humanoids from our own future coming back to earlier times, or genuine aliens traveling across time, space or even dimensions.  A civilization with enough power to travel interstellar distances could also travel through time.

Even in the military and intelligence agencies, those in the know had already realized in the 1940s that things like this were going on, but don't pay any attention to what they told the John Q. Publics,  They are still feeding them the same line of BS today.

You should check MUFON and ufostalker.com to see if there are any other reports in the area.

There are "always" UFO reports. I bet someone is reporting a UFO right this second, somewhere on the planet.

Doesnt meen ET though,... all it meens is that the observer cant identify something in the air.

The OP didn't make any allegations about ET, he said he didn't recognize it and it was unidentified. Nothing wrong with filing a report or going to the sites to see if someone else filed a report for the same sighting.

As much as i would like it to be ET, I Highly Doubt it was. A UFO is a Uniditenified Flying Object. I didn't/couldn't Identify it at the time so it becomes a UFO. However i just wish i had my ******* camera. I mean the location we were in was unusual for a aircraft to be in. And how bright it was with all of the other variables to.
