Wow, just wow.  So we have to endure a regurgitated hit job by the NYT on President Bush over the now famous August 6, 2001, briefing - but now come to find out, the current occupant of the Oval Office cannot even be bothered to attend the damned briefings.

And forget about what happened in Libya, what President in their right mind doesn't attend intelligence briefings the week before the 9/11 anniversary.

Exclusive: No Record of Intel Briefings for Obama Week Before Embassy Attacks

According to the White House calendar, there is no public record of President Barack Obama attending his daily intelligence briefing--known as the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB)--in the week leading up to the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the murder of U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff:

Oh heck, I'm sure the White House will 'amend' the record so that history will show B'rack attending every required meeting. :tu:

So, somehow he has no clue what's going on?

I see.

If only there were some sort of hand free connection device that would allow him to speak with whomever he needed to whenever he needed to...

Do Bush's calanders show he had these meetings/conversations every day just days after everything took place? Really?

Just curious. Forgive me if I don't trust b****hbart any more than I trust Democracy Now and Then.

And on those little handsfree connection devices superv, what do you mean? Because the potus can only have the most mundane and irrelevant conversations over cell phones.

I'm sure it was just that the time of these briefings interfered with the Presidents Tee time. Otherwise, I'm sure he would have attended the Daily Briefings. Whatever the reason, I'm sure it is just as valid.

Or..... Maybe instead he was attending the Secret Meetings that are the set up for the Invasion of Iran that so many conspiricy people are going on about this week. Those meetings would cover basically the same material.

Here at Intel we make processors on 12 inch wafers. And, the individual processors on the wafers are called die. And, I am employed to check these die. That is why I am the DieChecker.

Seems Obama is getting briefed after all.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

I didn't find an official source but I I'd a quick search and found this article about Bush and his character relating to PDB's. It falls in line with what I have heard in the past about it from I believe GW himself on some documentary.

If Newsmax reported the sky was blue I'd still have to look up to make sure.

I don't know the site. Just happened to click on it. But like I said, it falls in line with what I've heard before. It didn't seem gushing or far fetched.
