I know we've already had Under Pressure, but I can't leave the Queen element as that alone.

Queen were just so, so, so damn good.

I am going to have to replace my old 33s with cds! :(

The good news.. .Horslips won the legal case and now have all rights to their own music... So when you buy one of their CD's... all of the money doesn't go to some studio exec...

(Their web site - where you can order their cd's - they are sometimes hard to find otherwise -  http://www.horslips.ie/    )

I must have listened to all the Thin Lizzy's albums a thousand times and I never get tired of them.
They sure stand the test of time in my book.

PS: The harmony solo on Romeo And The Lonely Girl is mind-blowing and is no easy thing to get synced when playing it yourself.

Another group I've always really liked... Emerson Lake and Palmer (ELP)..

From "Brain Salad Surgery"   (One of the coolest album covers ever BTW)

"Karn Evil 9"

A really impressive drum solo here if you like those (I do)...

Wish I could have seen them live...

Message (German prog-rock)

"I charge thee in the sight of God, who giveth life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed the good confession; that thou keep the commandment, without spot, without reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: which in its own times he shall show, WHO IS THE BLESSED AND ONLY POTENTE, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS; who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power eternal. Amen" (I Tim 6:13-16).

One of my fav Beatles songs (wish I had that piece of paper).

The acceptance of authority does not lead to intelligence.
A mind untouched by thought...the end of knowledge.
To see reality loose your opinions.
