Why I can’t stop laughing at that perfectly logical question?

It seemed logical to me too!You know how some spiders have an eye at the top of each leg? Isn't it a similar layout with hatopus testicles? (Some spiders have eye 'turrets'. How would that be translated to hatopus testicles, I wonder?)

What, in all the world, could I do to earn my living and still live as myself, as I knew myself to be? Temporary masks, I knew, had their place; everyone was wearing them, they were the human rage; but not masks cemented in place until the wearer could not breathe and was eventually suffocated.

Actually, hatopus gonads are situated right behind its hearts, that are right behind its anus, which is fairly close to its mouth and mouth are right under its brain, and if that doesn’t explain why it chose me for its host – what will explain it?

I don't quite know. Aren't teachers supposed to explain this stuff? And I thought hatopi ate eyeballs, if not, what do they eat?

Deep fried sea kale slathered over caviar and buckwheat blinis, guzzled down with frozen vodka shots…five shots to each tentacle mind….Doesn't that sound about right for the Hatopus?

Sounds about right for Helen too ........ or am I being a bit mean?

Ah, you could be right ........ that would explain a lot, wouldn't it?

Shouldn't we be testing out this theory instead of sitting around asking so many questions?

Especially since I repeatedly explained vodka is considered flavourless over here, what people traditionally drink is rakija, hard liquor made of fruit, mainly plums and grapes, though some distil cherries or pears or anything else, so it has nice fruity aftertaste you can’t actually taste because the alcohol has washed your taste buds into temporary coma...  have I told you about my uncle who made little distillery (together with his co-workers) and they attempted making banana rakija while they were in Libya?
It’s one cute little story but I’m afraid I can’t tell it without taking the soul out of it with all the censoring needed to make it sound PC... god damn the hypocrite time in which we live, what else?

So, you don't deny the deep fried sea kale, just the vodka?

Of course I don’t deny, was denial ever my policy? Hell, no, fried them deep and I’ll fry them deeper next time but no vodka was involved... which reminds me of the legendary real-life answer-with-a-question from a local grandpa : “Who would drink alcohol with all that fine wine and rakija in my cellar?”

But of course, alcohol is that awful poisonous substance you buy at pharmacy for disinfection and how it could have anything in common with the soul of the fruit fermented and distilled with love and experience of generations?
By the way, a distillery is often called “merry machine” and though I don’t drink (yes, I’m that weird) how could I not understand why people are so emotionally attached to it?
