You put it in the bowl of water and see if the expiry date printed on the box, in some countries on the egg itself is due or not, and if it is, but the egg is not totally floating, you can still use it, because you are not trying to say the old folks had no good reasons to leave us “waste not, want not” piece of advice?
Or you asked for damn dragon egg age? How should I know? Maybe you are supposed to knock on it, and if it bites or spits fire at you, it's about to hatch?

That's interesting. The 'dragon's eggs' I was shown had expiry dates on them ...... do you think the eggs were fake?

Of course they were fake, have you ever heard of dragon farm? Or have you ever saw an egg in a nest with an expiry date? On the other hand, who knows what they have in China by now, caged dragons, ****ting on heads of those trapped below them, popping out eggs as they eat minced remains of their own mothers who were recycled... I’m copying this from the wrong pamphlet, am I? Damn... again?

Would you believe me, if I had one wish to be granted, I’d seriously consider asking for the ability of unseeing things? I'd probably go with bottomless sack of turnips in the end, but would I consider the unseeing? Would I? How can you even ask?
