Well thank goodness there are no coconuts near me. I just honestly don't even like to look at sharks, it just creeps me out.

You have a better chance of dying on your doorstep than from a shark. Even though most shark bites generally cause you to bleed out.
Oh bleeding out! Thanks, I will sleep tight tonight! :unsure2:

I saw once in the danube river a 3 meters long cat fish or 2meters long carp fish. Since then i cannot swim in dark waters w/o seeing what is underneath.

I forgive you. I didn't have any nightmares last night, thank goodness.

I can't remember the last time I had a nightmare.  The worst dreams I have now are of being lost somewhere, and I just tell my dream to find out where I am or I will wake up, and it obeys.

That does however seem to be my biggest fear -- being lost in a big city with no money and unable to speak the language.

I was once afraid of Slenderman, until he became overhyped and sensationalized. Now my fear is waking up in Arkham Asylum, with Harley Quinn nearby.

It's all in your face, I see you break...
It's like the sound of winter.
The bleeding love, the silent escape...
You've got to hang on to yourself...
It's like the sound of winter.

I'd say it the being tied up bit. waking up to see a woman standing over me with a sledgehammer isn't scary. being tied up and needing to go pee is.

The giant pine cone thread made me remember this...it's not a random fear of mine, but my daughter used to be terrified of pine cones.  The first time I discovered this was when she was just over a year old, I held one out for her to feel and she took one look at it and jumped into her dad's arms crying.

So when we went camping and she was going through that "finally confident at walking" stage about 6 months later, we set up a perimeter of pine cones strategically placed about a foot apart all around the campsite.  Maybe it was mean, but it sure kept her from wandering off!

Another time last year (she was 3) we were hiking and I was a few feet ahead of her on the trail.  She accidentally stepped on a pine cone, screamed and tried to get to me but she didn't see that there were 6 or 7 more pine cones scattered along the path between us. She was screaming and waving her hands around in typical freaked out girl fashion while trying to hop over every one as fast as she could.  I couldn't stop laughing, poor kid.  hahaha
