A schoolboy got one 'shell' of a shock when his pet bearded dragons laid 91 eggs and they all hatched.

Ben Whittaker, from Royston, near Barnsley, had been trying to breed bearded dragons, Brian, Izzy and Bella over the summer.

But the nine-year-old was 'surprised' to find the two females had laid so many eggs - and he was even more shocked when they all hatched.

I used to raise Veiled Chameleons and a lizard can produce a lot of young. The good news is baby Bearded Dragons are easier to feed than baby Chameleons.

It's not unusual for reptiles to lay many eggs. But, if they all hatch... that's something really unusual!
Anyways, that's good news for the little guy. Now he can sell the hatchlings and make lots of money :tu:

I'm wondering what the morning would be like when the enclosure was found empty suddenly?   :w00t:

What a bunch of lizards to deal with.  He'll have so many he won't notice when some get loose until one crawls under the covers with him.
