Aw come on man, you were sucked in 4 years ago, don't let them railroad you again.  Romney isn't perfect, no one is, but Obama surely isn't the man you were led to believe is he?  The next debate will be just as bad because he is what he is and his record is indefensible.

Romney isn't so bad but the base he seems to be playing to is batshit crazy. Banning gay marriage and abortion, refusing to let women serve in combat, increasing the military budget when it should be decreased, really trying to pick a fight with Iran...the GOP is just too far to the right for my tastes this round so I'm rooting for Obama.

And just a note for comparison in my country Obama would be seen as a conservative politican. ;)

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
