Malala is coming to the UK for treatment and under the circumstances it's probably best that she stays here.

They can freely shut down schools for weeks at a time but can't find enough time to make sure they kill a girl?

Tell me people don't believe this.

Believe what exactly?

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

I don't understand (not uncommon) but are you saying the Taliban didn't try to kill her?  They proudly admitted it... so what are you saying? Conspiracy?

They also admit to crimes that the Army continually denies was their doing when it serves for their benefit.

Just stating that there is much more to this story than presented here.

Sorry, buddy but the things you are saying just don't make sense.  Are you saying this girl was NOT shot by the Taliban?

What 14 year old girl do you know that lives in a 3rd-world country has a published blog by bbc in english, urdu and a pen name in the local newspaper?

They regularly destroyed schools in her community but took a year to make an attempt on this girls life?

I am not wearing any tinfoil but just stating that it doesn't all seem to be there.

Yeah sorry but don't see any reason to believe there's some hidden story here. The Taliban have a well documented history of attacking girls going to school and have freely claimed responsibility for the attack.

As for the blog plenty of kids have them and people in third world countries do have some internet access. And given that English is a widely spoken language and is the most influentual language in the world at the moment it would makes sense to use that language in order to bring the most attention to an important issue. As for the attack itself this could have been their first good opportunity to attack her.

An exceptional gift young girl? You know there are language schools in 3rd world countries, and children younger than 14  learn to be fluent in more than one language. Speaking English in Pakistan or India is not such a rarity!

The question should be what kind of stable sane person aims a gun at a school girl's head and shoots
