The Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, gave a dazzling display over the UK last night. Many people were out watching the colourful lights, here is a selection of your pictures.

Now imagine couple of Eskimo lying on snow and watching it. Who know what goes trough their minds when they seen it. Gods, ancestors, ghosts, forcess...How did they feel? Fear...Comfort...

I live in Southern California, and in all my life I've only ever seen one small Aurora Borealis.

The only time I ever saw one the sky just looked red.  Wish I could see a good one.
