The War inherent in our hearts, the one that keeps us in a daily struggle, is the war that can be seen any where around us. We wish not to stare directly into its eyes for it has given us our name, a name we are not proud of, and it has our hand. This is why we are stuck in its grasp constantly fighting for our freedom; it knows us. War gives rise to a plethora of decadence, which rots our inner wealth. What comes with its seamlessly everlasting gaze is the white-horse poverty, not just poverty of the body but poverty of the mind. It shackles our potential and keeps us devoid of or love for one another. We degrade who we are by its will and externalize its prophets of death to take the enemy outside of ourselves. We are too afraid to face the truth and because of this it shall conquer us.
