"to make sure his fiancée married him for love and NOT his money" - Well that sure shows a lot of trust on his part! I wonder what his fiancee thought when she eventually found out.

  • We don't need to conquer the world, we need to conquer our individual selves first. Then the world will be at peace.

Sounds more like outright selfishness.
I'm not buying his story. He WOULD have known the true love aspect within a much shorter time.

I don't care if they say they investigated and the ticket was purchased legitimately - I smell a rat.  He could have cashed it and not said anything to his fiance also, why would you risk waiting so long when that much money is involved?

"I warn you, whoever you are, oh you who wish to probe the arcanes of nature, if you do not find within yourself that which you seek, neither shall you find it outside.
If you ignore the excellencies of your own house, how do you intend to find other excellencies?
In you is hidden the treasure of treasures, Oh man, know thyself and you shall know the Universe and the Gods."

Yeppers, see that now makes perfect sense, what a couple of douches hope they get the whole 25 years and then some.
