There have been many documented accounts of folks being scratched  by unseen entities, I believe SOME of them could be true but the majority either as a result of waking up with scratches (too many potential causes have to be taken into account before you can call that legitimate) or being in a known haunted environment or suspected haunting and wandering around in the dark, BOUND to bump into something at anytime.

There are people who are adamant they were near nothing at all, even in well lit places and have been harmed (most of the time only minor damage) , if this WERE true then we have to wonder why ghosts, particularly angry spirits have not severely injured living people, some kinda weird ghost code or a lack of energy?? All this should be separate from the phenomena known as poltergeists, it could be that they are a form of projected emotion and energy from people going through tough times or powerful spirits, but their manipulation of objects is well known.

They can harm your mind, make it impossible to be at peace.  Every moment you fear something will happen and you just have to be prepared for anything.  Physical harm I think is possible.  Its possible for them to throw things at you.  I think anything as physical is possible and extremely scary.

Well I think residual hauntings and ghosts that randomly burst out of a wall or appear in the corridor (not aware/replaying etc) aren't the type that inflict damage. They clearly don't have any interest or perhaps even recognition of the living, it's most commonly reported that the attacker wasn't visible, which is why it shocks so potently, even if the cause isn't supernatural, you want to know what the heck dared to touch you. The unseen aspect of course allows the answer to swing to a source between supernatural or physical reasons mistaken as an attack. We also know ghosts manifest in stages, perhaps depending on the environment conditions or available 'energy' so it could be that unmanifested spirits, particularly wrathful, would seek to not appear but to let their presence be felt. Poltergeists are very violent usually and manipulation of objects is their calling card so via that method it's certainly possible to get hurt, I'm not sure whether these entities scratch or bite or whatever. Not sure if you'd class demons, elementals or more gloomy prospects under spirits but they like to harass lets put it that way... just a few random thoughts

I was once told that you have more to fear from the living, however I do believe that some spirits are capable of attacking humans if strong enough. Im no specialist on this topic i just believe if they can draw power from electricity  to form and sap human emotions (as mentioned above) surely they might be able to use these to harm a human if they wanted? But i doubt that its a common occurance. At least i hope its rare!!

they can def harm you.. feeding off your energy via fear etc, is harming you.. and possession is a major problem in this 3d world we live in.. full on if you can see them.. they live behind the eyes.. ive had many possessions this life when i started doing healing work, cause i wasnt protecting myself enough.. thought i was,, but wasnt.. was a lesson i needed to learn..

when people start to awaken, like whats happening now in this dimension, there will be some major interference from team dark cause they dont want you to awaken.. they want you asleep so you dont question what the government is doing, you dont question who and what we are, and dont remember who and what we are..

the worst demonic entities ive dealt with are the "christics".. they are dark and brutal.. we are surrounded by reptiles in energy form.. they are creepy to see on a visual level, but are pretty dumb and dopey..

asking your guardian angel to support and protect you and clear your aura of anything that is not yours is a good start to every day.. same with arts like qigong, tai chi and yoga.. as they strengthen your aura and when its strong these things cant do much to you.. when its weak they can enter you and cover you.. anyone that does drugs, prescription or other are always covered in them.. its feral.. same with drinkers.. i use to take a lot of drugs.. the minute you take them or drink alcohol you open your aura up to any low lying entity out there, and there are so many of them..

I have been around the supernatural if you will since I was a kid (I am not a kid any more lol).  My family has always been around it, from my Grandmother who saw multpile ghosts (and on occasion spoke to them). To my mother that liked to have seances and use a ouija board. To me feeling them around me quite frequently.  I have never been hurt by a spirit (nor any of my other family members).  I have however had a friend total her car (luckily she wasn't really hurt by the accident) because she freaked out when she saw a ghost in her backseat.

And that is why I think people get hurt, they freak out do stupid things out of fear and blame an ethereal entity.  And as I said in another post, I don't understand why people are afraid of ghosts.  Most people believe in an afterlife, but freak out and are terrified when presented with proof of that....makes no sense to me at all.  Oh and btw I do not believe in demons, devils, etc.  I think those are bookymen created my church leaders to control the masses and keep them coming to church and paying that tithe.....

Totally agree with this, I think they can only harm you if you allow it to. If you dwell on it too much then it can become a problem.
They say the biggest fear of mankind is fear of the unknown. Like you said its that fact people get scared if proof is presented right infront of them, yet get scared over it because they don't understand.

Yikes, that's crazy, reminds me of the tale of the hitchiker ghost, glad she was okay
