Still Waters Posted October 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2012 You’ve heard the saying “it’s raining cats and dogs.” It’s supposed to signify a heavy rainfall. But what does it mean when it starts raining sharks? That’s exactly what happened Monday at San Juan Hills Golf Club, when a 2-foot-long shark was spotted thrashing about on the 12th tee box. http://thecapistrano...lls-Golf-Course

coldethyl Posted October 24, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Probably some college prank. Pretty little thing tho. I stay ankle deep in the ocean thanks to sharks. *shudders*
Eldorado Posted October 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) A birdie dropped it. A big birdie, of course. An eagle, maybe an albatross. They are lucky they got it off the course before the tiger appeared. He's partial to a bit of man-eating shark. Oppono Astos Posted October 28, 2012 #12 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Back in the 1990s there was a local media report about 'baffled walkers' who discovered 5 (dead) trout in a puddle on the Ridgeway trail.

Alienated Being Posted October 28, 2012 #16 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Wouldn't that be an excellent topic for discussion over coffee? "Yeah, I was playing golf the other day when all of a sudden a shark fell from the sky, and landed right in front of me." I read of one lady who claimed she was molested by a rogue tiger at a golf club! She managed to take his balls though so it was a happy ending. He's not been the same since.
Lady Annabella Posted October 28, 2012 #19 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Not to be negative, but since it says nothing about a marine vet looking at it . How do we know when they returned it back to sea , that it didn't die ? It fell from unbelievable heights apparently . Who knows what kind of inner body damage the poor creature has ..
