  • They're wearing steel that's bright and true
They carry news that must get through
They choose the path where no-one goes

This is a silly poem I wrote a long time ago and for no apparent reason...it suddenly popped into my head:

Oh to be stuffed
Like a little rag doll
To be fitted with cotton debris
When I see a Teddy Bear
Down at the county fair
You know I wish it were me

So, when I'm dead
And my spirit is gone
And all that is left is my skin
Just take me downtown
To the Taxiderm Guy
And then let me sit in your den

once i believed that starlight could guide me home
now i know that light is old and stars are cold
