This is true.  The GOP House will be the only thing that keeps this country from slipping away.
Yes, such terrible things such as making sure sick people get medical treatment even if they can't pay for it right away.

I must not fear. Fear is the Mind-Killer. It is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and to move through me. And when it is gone I will turn the inner eye to see it's path.
When the fear is gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

You may think you're cool, but you'll never be as cool as Peter Capaldi with an electric guitar, on a tank, playing the Doctor Who theme.

Well the popular vote says Obama lost several million votes since 2008 and the country is officially divided in half by a razor thin line. The worst part about all this is that nearly nothing changed. Just gonna be four more years of bitter fighting. I was hoping for at least little cooling down. Oh well. Good job dems.

Well, Bush was doing a good job until Dodd and Frank pulled off a coup d'etat.  Yes, Government is the blame (both parties) but the Socialism is destroying the fabric of our political system from within.  And I don't see what is going to stop it other than another Civil War.  This country cannot long endure half free and half slave.
Fortunately the Republican Vote will shrink over the next few years, time for conservative dinosaurs to adapt or they will surely die.

But if GOP is blocking so much that it can be pointed out that they do anything to stop any kind of success for the president and in that process it hinders the nations progress economically they will be hunted out of the House in the next vote.
Then its two years of free rein for the Democrats.
But that's the thing.  The President's agenda has nothing to do with this nation's progress economically.  That is a prediction I'll stand by right now.  Come see me in 2, 4 years.

Definitely.  They have stood their ground (especially after Obamacare was crammed down our throats and Obama's lack of interest in reaching out).  But there is no compromising with Socialism anyway.  One gives and inch and Socialism will take a mile.

I hope something changes. The back and forth from both sides has done nothing by drive us further down a hole. Why don't they try acting like adults, for a change?

Do you know what socialism is? Can you explain why you think that socialism is taking over? Have you ever been to a socialist country?

What the GOP is fearing the most though, is that when Obama-care will be set in motion and if it develops in a way like Medicare, people in a few years cant even think to live without it, and would be outraged of even thinking about taking it away. Just like Medicare now.

It is over.  I was way wrong and the country is done.  Nothing but bad for the economy and energy. Terrible that the winners lose by winning because the stock market will bottom out tomorrow,  Time to leave.

Some tasty tears flowing here.

So here's my prediction: in four years America...will largely be the same country as it is now. The last few elections you have people wailing about how the US is going to be doom and a totalitarian wasteland...and it doesn't happen.

So yeah, not much is going to change...or Obama will become a cannibal and personally eat half the country

He has his own definition of what socialism is.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
