Just to be clear, I'm not taking a definitive position in saying the Ramseys might be guilty.

I'm saying they acted strangely, but who's to know how someone would act under the same conditions.

They are certainly suspect in my mind, but it's possible there's another party(or parties) responsible.

I am not disagreeing with you, Matt. Not at all. I think many of the same things. Yes, much of the Ramseys' behavior was odd, and atypical for the way the majority of parents in comparable situations behave. But you're right...not all people act the same, and who can really say how someone ought to act in situations of extreme duress?

I can't say either. I have never been able to rule out or in any of the theories put forward over the years with any comfort. I find equally implausible pretty much every theory I've ever heard, and god knows there are hundreds of them.
