What happened?
I stepped out for a few hours and this thread has gone haywire...and Nopeda isn't even posting!

At the heart of science is an essential balance between two seemingly contradictory attitudes--an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new.
This is how deep truths are winnowed from deep nonsense. -- Carl Sagan

I have been a devoted Christian for many years, however, when you add the Ancient Alien Theory to the Biblical story... It all starts to make complete sense... These ancient people had no reference points to accurately describe what they were witnessing. Anyone who lived in those times would have referred these aliens to being gods and angels...

Many times Christ talks about being deceived. Be careful what you believe, not everything is as it seems. Don't let a belief in "ancient aliens" lead you astray from your core belief system.

I've seen three different programs with three different ways of transporting the Megalyths at Stonehenge. However, none of them resorted to sayimh "Merlin levatated them into place" or "it was aliens".
What were the ways?

If God does exist he would pretty much have to be from a high tech alien civilization that evolved on another planet. What other options are you imagining there could possibly be???
well there is always the "He's God, supernatural creator of all, omnioptent, omnipresent, King of King etc etc".
But hey, that's just crazy talk.
He would still have to be an alien from a high tech civilization imo, and so far no one has suggested anything else he actually could be.

I and all other that have been unfortunate enough to make your acquaintance would all replace your word "Believe" up there with "understand"
That would be dishonest of you, but certainly not a surprise coming from you. I've complained about your dishonesty from the start.

Let's start a list. I was told that the Abidos helicopter and co.:

1. don't look like air vehicles.
2. have been carved over.
3. have been plastered over then carved over.
4. have been plastered over then carved over then some fell out.
5. have been plastered over then carved over then it all fell out.

Do you want to add any more to that?

For some reason you seem to think your ignorance of the subject is somehow an advanced way of looking at the equation, however, you are alone in that thought.
. . .
I guess you just enjoy upsetting other people? You would not be the first one I have met.
You're the same but you try to be more sneaky about it. Probably the thing you dislike most about me is that I'm aware of that and some of your bs.

Why did the ancients build these huge monuments? Why not? It's not like they had a lot else to do, no computers, mobile phones, TV,  Internet or a million other things to distract them from achieving great things. Most of the general population were probably poor and uneducated so the prospect of working and being fed everyday was probably a good incentive.
All the ones I've heard about seem to have been built to honor a being or beings who would be xts afaik. Thinking people just built them because they had nothing better to do isn't even close to realistic thinking and is mentally restricting. Is that the best you can do? Or is it that you don't want to say they were built in honor of beings who most likely are xts if they exist?

"Because there is a law such as gravity, the Universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the Universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke God to ... set the Universe going."
Pop that in your starting line.
I refer to that aspect in my list. It's number ten:

10. Whether God exists or not it seems apparent that life must have
originated from lifelessness to begin with, and may do it fairly often.
