But just LOOK at the photo: the stones get smaller and smaller, and they get rougher and rougher.

Smaller and smaller yes that's one of the points I'm making.  There is no reason for saying that they were capable of the adobe construction and not the precision.  I wouldn't call the lower construction rough.

It is still polygonal in style showing evidence of moulding.  Look at the steps in the joins.  Very difficult  to achieve.  This is still showing signs of high tech,  Has it been disturbed?  That may account for why it's not as precise as say Coricancha.

There no evidence of a progressive change.  One style ceased and another took over,  Two different methodologies.

Look at this for another example:

They didn't have enough time.

Before the Spaniards came, they had all the time in the world.

And yes, common buildings were built using the easy way.

Like I told you more than a dozen times.

And if you don't like speculation, then what do YOU have to offer instead?

All you can say is that you don't know how they did it, so it must've been aliens??

That is not being creative, that is giving up when the thinking gets difficult.

See above.

Your theory doesn't work.

My theory DOES work, if you accept the fact that they were busy building when they were being invaded by the Spaniards.

You have never ever posted a theory of yourself.

You are one of those who should have a creative and open mind.

I have, and I did my best to show you.

Or were they in a hurry to do this on top of the precision work?  It's everywhere to be found.

Definitely no evidence of hurried work or emergency.  There must have been other reasons for the shift in style.  Lost know how.  No evidence that the later builders knew how to achieve the precision.

As I said; this quality hasn't been replicated since that time.  For one good reason.  Later people didn't know how to do it.

The precision work you love so much takes a LOT of time.

When an enemy invades your country, you are in a hurry and you will NOT be thinking of that kind of precision.

Does that take a genius to think about that?

Welcome back seeder.  The theories from which you are arguing are unsupportable again.

Here's the challenge:

Show where the precision granite work like the above photo was done since that time; otherwise the assumption must be that it couldn't be done.  Protzen certainly didn't prove this theory wrong did he?

Cobbled together theories of emergency, or in a hurry, or short of material are all totally unsupportable.

It was either done in the world later, or the knowledge was lost because it represented a very high art indeed.

That quality would have been replicated if it were possible.

Unarguable reasoning.

But what sort of p***es me off is that believers keep saying we skeptics should have an 'open mind'.

They never have.

I come up with many ideas, they never do.

If we had to depend on them, we'd still be banging rocks to create fire.

It's not about ideas Abe.  It's about reason.  See above.  You can have a million ideas and they could all be rubbish.
