Hello! Woman of Many Names :) . And welcome!

Keep your eyes wide open and don't run!

P.S. Just to be clear, because sometimes I am not. I do not believe...
in the existence of a large previously unknown undiscovered hairy biped roaming North America.
But I like to hear the accounts, read the books, watch the shows, discuss and argue about the phenomenon.

Hello Karen (et.al) and welcome. :)

The quote by '?', was that from, or in reference to, Houdini's wife? I think that I came across it last month, maybe not.

Edit: Nope. Just looked it up.

This was what I was looking for; "After Houdini died... On Halloween 1936, Bess conducted a "Final Houdini Sťance" on the roof of the Knickerbocker Hotel in Hollywood. At the conclusion of the failed sťance, she put out the candle beside a photograph of Houdini that was said to have burned for ten years. In 1943 she said "ten years [was] long enough to wait for any man."
