While many households sigh at the prospect of dusting their decorations and untangling strings of fairy lights in time for Christmas, one woman is gleefully unpacking hers.

But then Diana Howes' approach to festive furnishings is slightly unusual.

For the married woman has got an army of at least 1,000 snowmen in all shapes and sizes.

I'm sorry, but she is just the sort of middle-aged woman who gives middle-aged women a bad name! ;)

What, in all the world, could I do to earn my living and still live as myself, as I knew myself to be? Temporary masks, I knew, had their place; everyone was wearing them, they were the human rage; but not masks cemented in place until the wearer could not breathe and was eventually suffocated.

She has a kindred spirit (believe it or not) in the U.S. One woman on TV had like 3000 just in her living room!
While snowmen are my favorite holiday figure, the pictures are overwhelming and make me sneeze just looking at them.

I love statues of various religions entities .
Kali ma is probably the one I have the most of. From all over the world. The Vietnamese one is quite scary .Then next in abundance would be Saint Theresa ,then ganesha ,and then Garuda .
I have a few other cool ones. I assume they would all scare this snowman woman to death ,and I too, have probably less than 30 ,total .

Miss me?
