Kiam Moriya, from Birmingham Alabama, was born on December 12, 2000 12 minutes after midday, in Bronxville, New York.

"It's like one minute out of a whole lifetime," Kiam told AL.com. "You know, it's all 12s."

Kiam was not due until later January or early February, but was seven weeks premature, making the birthday all the more remarkable.

My mom experienced something similar with her birth date. :)

'A phantom,' said my Uncle Mycroft, who had just materialised, 'is essentially a heteromorphic wave pattern that gains solidity when the apparition converts thermal energy from the surroundings to visible light. It's a fascinating process and I'm amazed no one has thought of harnessing it - a holographic TV that could operate from the heat given off by an average-size guinea pig.' ~ First Among Sequels, Jasper Fforde

He's a witch! Burn him!

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

He turned me into a newt! ...I got better...

An odd coincidence, I would've said something like 'this doesn't deserve a news story!' But it was random happenstance so I can't complain about the numbers.

Ok ok, got a little carryed away there. We need to approach this using reason and logic. Someone get me a duck...

About 260 people are born every minute,  so there is nothing remarkable here.  What would be strange is if no one was born on that minute 12 years ago.

And there is more to come. :tu:

Skyler Adrianna Woronchuk (WAR'-ehn-chuhk) entered the world at 12:12 p.m. on 12-12-12. http://www.uticaod.c...p-m-on-12-12-12

But that's not all:
At least five newborns have come into the world with a little once-a-century good luck.
They arrived at 12:12 on 12-12-12. http://www.usatoday....babies/1766147/
