I know this might seem silly but I have lost both sets of keys to my car and I am really starting to worry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked inside your vacuum cleaner?
You could have left them on the carpet and hoovered them up.
Just rattle it around because it might not be nessecarily be where the dust settles.
There's other compartments in the device that have nothing to do with it's true purpose.
If it that dosn't have the desired effect I still wouldn't panic.
For all you know it might still be in the ignition and you have locked yourself out of your car.
The thing with hoovers is that their suction is so powerful any small items are fair game.
I don't think you have been punked by a poltergeist.
