For anyone who has ever gazed enviously at a dog or a cat wishing that they might have a tail of their own to wag as they please, well believe it or not we have found the answer to your prayers.

A Japanese inventor has created the Tailly - a strap on tail for humans that wags when the wearer becomes excited.

The Tailly is fitted with sensors that monitor the wearer's pulse rate, so the faster the heart beat, the more it wags. When you calm down it swings more slowly.

From someone who's spent a lot of time in Japan ...

And this seems out of place to you because ....???
Eating on the train is more odd I think ....

The little old ladies there dye their hair purple and green ,and parents bleach their Ome year olds hair blond .
They wear face masks ,eye patches and  bandaids on their necks as fashion statement .

This would not stand out as terribly odd, there anyway .
