Researchers at the Yale University have named a newly found prehistoric lizard specie in the honor of the American President Barack Obama.
The prehistoric lizard which roamed the earth about 65 million years ago was first discovered in Montana in 1972. Recent studies on the bird have shown that the lizard belonged to a completely new specie.
The full name given to the lizard is 'Obamadon Gracilis', where Obamadon means Obama's teeth and Gracilis means slender.
"The lizard has these very tall, straight teeth and Obama has these tall, straight incisors and a great smile," said Nick Longrich, a paleontologist at the school in New Haven, Connecticut.
