Sad case. Hammerhead Sharks along with Carpenter Shark (sawfishes), (the `handymen´ of the oceans ;)) are strange but wondeful looking creatures.
The Hammerhead sharks probably inspired the creator of the creatures in Pitch Black a little bit, with their eyes at the far end of their wide scull.. Besides that they were flying though. :)
