The only way to solve the large scale unemployment would be to re-nationalise business and industry at every level and for a government to introduce socialist policies. Unfortunaterly business interests come before the general populace.
These stats all show how utterly wrong the Left was about what would happen to the unemployment rate if the Conservatives came to power. In 2009, Danny Blanchflower, the Left's favourite economist and Gordon Brown’s favourite former appointee to the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee, confidently predicted that unemployment would surge past 5 million should the Tories could to power. As shown above, the unemployment rate is only half that.

The unemployment is terrible and is certainly a lot more than 2 million. that's hogwash and they know it.
The thing is, because of the recession there's more people losing jobs then getting them.
Also there just isn't many jobs about and they tend to be stupid things most people can't do like managers and plumbers.
What really grinds my gears is the idiots who claim that all doleys are "Scroungers" which is a bunch of nonsense really.
Most people on JSA do want to work.
