Big Bad Voodoo Posted January 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2013 There is a vast span of human existence of which little is known. Archeological ruins from the beginnings of civilization have been unearthed, and there have been occasional discoveries of a more prehistoric nature, but not much else. The impermanency of our physical existence is responsible for this void; our flesh and body fluids rapidly decompose after death. Unless preserved by extraordinary means, even skeletal remains eventually crumble and disappear. Early peoples did not practice ceremonial burial. Left to the elements, bodies soon completely decomposed: "Dust to dust" was not a mere poetic metaphor. It was a recorded observation of our transient natures. Only in the last century have scientists and anthropologists begun using biological markers such as the blood groups in the search for humanitys imprint on our distant past. These studies have allowed a greater understanding of the movements and groupings of early peoples as they adapted to changing climates, mutating germs, and uncertain food supplies. Recent analyses, using sophisticated genetic measures, have produced the most accurate picture to date of human evolution. http://www.dadamo.com/science_anthro.htm
TheSearcher Posted January 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2013 You refer to D'Adamo, and sorry but that's a load of horse manure. Even the other fringies reject his ideas. Read this article for example. Seriously L, you should stop believing everything you read on the internet You are correct when you say that DNA and biological markers have been used to map human evolution, however...... Using D'Adamo and his lunatic theories and diets, is destroying any credence you just build up. Medical experts universally agree that the D'Adamo theory is nonsense, and say there is absolutely no link between our blood group and the diet we eat. Also, based on D’Adamo’s theory, We should have evolved a blood type F! People with blood type F will need lots of fast food, takeaways, pizza, sugary snacks, crisps and chocolate to remain in tune with their environment. After all, if the theory is correct, surely that’s what we have to expect, based on what many of us eat.
