If something's hard to do, then it's not worth doing

A Theory I have thought about, which is probably not true and silly is this:
A lot of people believe in The Illuminati, who supposedly rule the world.
Well I was thinking could it be possible there could be a plan that one day
there is an united states of europe, where it is governed by one government
and the whole of europe is one massive country, with different "States" And
all the laws, police, military is connected.
It's probably a load of complete crap i'm coming out with. But it wouldn't surpise me
I wouldn't surprise me if it eventually developed that way. With the EU the various European countries are working closer than they have been in the past and there's been talks of a European army for years. But I see this as a more natural development than any kind of secret plot and is still decades away from happening, at the very least. Hard to see a united Europe when movements are threating to break up Belgium and Spain. Someone needs to remind the Illuminati that they want less countries, not more of them.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
