What are you talking about?  Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) has one of the best climates in Asia.  Come here May - July and it will be hot (low 90s F) and dusty and dry, but the rest of the year is pleasant, with highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s.  It rains a lot and when it rains it really rains, from August through November.  Right now is "winter" here and all is sunny and cool.

Now there are other places in Vietnam where things are a good deal less pleasant.
I defer to a native in this of course, but I distinctly remember reading about combat operations from the '60s where this was stated.  That is my only knowledge of the climate though.  Is there a large variation in climate or topography?

name=]']]
More like you,than Frank over there .
My coworkers last name is Nguyen actually,and I eat Vietnamese food in a,Vietnamese run restaurant,once a week .
They've lived here for years,and none of them sound much like Frank .
My co worker has lived here,and went to school here,since he's a little kid.
His fiancee is on my facebook ,as is he,and most of his FB pals are Vietnamese. Not one of hundreds ,has a name like Frank,and all have Vietnamese last names .
Tell us your name .As I know its not Greg Connolly ,or Michael Watt .
duh
Frank is not who he says he is . Just this girl's opinion .

Miss me?

My sister spent about 6 months there a few years back....absolutely loved it there...never been myself though.
