Credit: NASA/J. Baker › Larger image At front left, electrical technicians complete thermal wrapping of the wiring for the spacecraft deck avionics for observatory No. 3. To the right, the illuminated blue light indicates a live functional test on observatory No. 2. In the farthest corner, near the center of the photo, observatory No. 1 is draped in Lumiloy and being fitted with thermal blankets that will protect it in space.
