Skeptic Ben radford estimated the size of the "object" 90 cm tall and 2 m long, and if we start from the principle that this photo shows actually several same-sized individuals , then we have an approximately 2.9 m long animal, consistent with what natives americans claimed to have seen, monsters whith sharp teeth reported to grow to 8 to 10 feet. It's seems there is also a kind of strange otter living there which may have been mixed up with the giant salamander.
