Climbing trees, chasing mice, showing off to the ladies . . . four legs were always handy for Caffrey the cat.

Then tragedy struck. When Caffrey was three, the handsome grey Persian was run over by a car and lost his left hind leg.

Yes. Amazing however what I also see is arthritis in its future because it now has to support all of its weight on two legs which are on one side of the body.

Yes..it is adapting as best it can but at some point the kitty will be paying for it....of course if it had not been let outside to roam freely then this would not have happened yet the owners learned nothing and the kitty still roams free so it can be hit again.

He has used up a few of his 9 lives but he's a survivor.   Good for him.
