So, in summary - an old prophecy bears no relation to current events and lightning hits the top of a tall building.

Definitely worth its own thread.

Pretty much.
Illegal immigration isn't a new concept in the US. Just ask the Native Americans.

Strange how Jesus, or Yeshua said to not call any man father , I don't think he meant it as in a parental figure .I think the word pope means holy father.

You're looking for internal logic in organised religion??? Good luck with that.

Maybe he'll be Alan or some other name like that - still derived from the same basic root (rock).
One of the Cardinals names is Keith - Pope Keith :su
"I warn you, whoever you are, oh you who wish to probe the arcanes of nature, if you do not find within yourself that which you seek, neither shall you find it outside.
If you ignore the excellencies of your own house, how do you intend to find other excellencies?
In you is hidden the treasure of treasures, Oh man, know thyself and you shall know the Universe and the Gods."

I simply can't see the prophecy coming to reality because you can't destroy Rome without p***ing off NATO.

What if the destruction was due to natural causes?  We all saw what kind of damage a bus sized object can do when it explodes near populated areas.

I say....if marriage is hard work, you're doing it wrong.  Love is not work.  Love is eternal.

Current events would suggest otherwise!  The Vatican appears to be at the threshold of a scandal-ridden meltdown (a.k.a. "many tribulations").

Whatever they decide to call the next pope, he'll certainly be handed a sack of alligators.

This prophecy has got 'legs', it seems.

The coverups by the "pontifs" are so disgusting , so evil and so very wrong , beyond words. They need to be shut down .I don't mind the church exsiting but only if a truly loving leadership , like  people who are actually worthy of being called father or mother , because they actually care and love , if individuals like that  were keeping watch and looking over it such evil would have never been permitted to function there. It's so disgusting, so  wrong, and for how long has it been that way?
Makes you wonder what sort of connections does the vatican have that it has gotten away with it for so long, and, what will the next pontif be like which was predicted to be the last . I don't know how accurate the predictions actually were and are, i suppose well see in due time.

They where right that this pope was only going to be in power for a short time and he was.
So we will have to see what happens
