I saw that Stargate SG-1 is coming back as a video game. There isn't too much about it out there yet. There is some speculation on it being a tablet game that's going to be released in March. Otherwise I'm pretty excited for it. Are you?
In the beginning there were only probabilities. The universe could only come into existence if someone observed it. It does not matter that the observers turned up several billion years later. The universe exists because we are aware of it.
I would rather it be an 'open ended' or 'free form' game like Skyrim rather than a set mission (as I get the impression this is)...
Letting the player form their own team, and explore (with assigned missions as well)...
I really enjoyed SG1 and Atlantis (SG1 more so)... but SGU didn't excite me at all...
I know more about Stargate SG-1 than Bulgaria.
This is how I think the video game would pan out without me knowing...
The big bads will be the System Lords and their footsoldiers/hosts the Jaffa.
It'll be a multi- player shoot em up with Colonel O Neill and Teal'c doing the bulk of the shooting.
Samantha Carter will also lend a hand and add a touch of glamour.
While Daniel will be solving any archeological mysteries that need to be solved.
The Asgard could even put in an appearance while there's a break in play.
I don't think any of the game action will revolve around the standalone stories from the series.
Though the big bads could easily be the Replicators.
How am I doing so far?
