A gecko pulls a cheeky face as it stretches its long tongue out to lick its eyes and face clean of morning dew.

The web-footed gecko, also known as the palmato gecko, can be found in the Namib desert in Namibia where temperatures can rise to 45 degrees.

It survives in the scorching heat by drinking the moisture on its eyes in the milder early hours.

I just thought of something funny.  What if people had tongues that long.  You could slick your hair back.
