I'm having the same problems today... VERY slow loading, to not at all. It's not the end of the world, but I know when my network at work slows way down, I like it when my users tell me. So I'm tellin'. LOL.

yes, it has, I've noticed, been going "Oops! Internet Exploiter could not discover the Web site", and now when I look at "My Content", it says "There is no information to show." :(
I expect there's Maintenance in progress or something.

Our search engine server had shut down unexpectedly, it's been restarted now and 'my content' should be working again.

There are currently no known performance issues with the server, if you still experiencing time outs and slow loading then like the last time these are likely to be on a network outside of our control and all we can do really is wait for them to fix it.

I have started having problems again on this site,

Slow loading of the site, if it loads at all

Error when liking a post, it takes longer and is really slow to like a post, if it works at all, I can like a post get the effect that it is in the process of liking a post, and be able to read the whole of the page before the like works

I have to sometimes refresh the page just to get it to load up, sometimes even that does not work and I just close it :hmm: and it does seem to be getting worse

Been happening on and off, on UM for the past 2 to 3 days, other site's are fine, checked everything on PC which seems to be fine, internet connection is fine also

I don't know whether it is my browser or some problem with the server. I suppose that as the broweser is Internet Exploiter, it might well be. At any rate, it's still doing it, and it does seem to be just this site. Sometimes it won't load at all, and sometimes it defaults to that "My First Web Site" format with all the font in Times New Roman, like they used to have back in the 90s.

No, I've tried it with fire Fox, it's still the same. There's definitely some error or problem.

Thirded. Definitely. I have to give up for today, it’s so slow, often gives “this page is not available” message.
The rest of the Internet, well, the pages I visit, work normally for me.

And it won't post this... I'll try for the third time, I apologize if all three attempts show up after a while :D

As I say I don't believe the issue is with our server so I don't think there's anything that can be done, however I've contacted our host again about it in case there is something they can tell me to explain why people are experiencing this.

The last time this issue cropped up it just fixed itself after a few days without us doing anything.

I think we are being watched by aliens who have managed to hack into the system to study our posts and discussions on the world we live in.

It wouldn't be the first time discussion forums have been hacked. I think the Boston thread might have something to do with it.
