A Danish news channel has admitted that it used an image of Damascus taken from a computer game in a news report on the Syrian civil war.

Instead of a photograph, the backdrop for presenter Cecilie Beck’s introduction to the news piece was a still taken from the violent video game “Assassin’s Creed”.

Brilliant.  I love it when they do this sort of thing.  The article mentions it happening before, such as THIS ARTICLE, can't believe I've never seen that article before considering I'm a Halo tragic.

Damascus, 700 years ago vs modern-day Syria.  Amusing.  Guess it shows computer graphics are quickly becoming as life-like as real life.

maybe to make the images less painfull for viewers ?

"why should we not rely on Allah when he guided us our path . we shall certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us. for those who want to put their trust in someone should put their trust in Allah.
