  • It seems so important now but you will get over.

there is a cathedral
carved in stone
the priests have long gone
our bed was put in place
right under the sanctuary
a good place to raise a family

there is a forest
carved for wood
the choppers have long gone
our crops were put in place
right under the sun
a good place to raise grain

there is a silence
carved in my soul
the demons have long gone
our hopes were put in place
right under our God
a good place to raise spirits

there is a violence
carved in my country
the soldiers have long gone
our laws were put in place
right under ourselves
a good place to raise a family

Wow what transitions you have in this space. Thank you. :)

I love the true freedom and cause of this. It would, indeed, be a great place for family and flourish.
I've always imagined just getting off the grid somewhere and living without all of those things that most mankind nowadays cannot seem to live without.
No cellphones, internet, computers, or anything of the sort. Just the knowledge of survival and some good books to read(cannot sacrifice books).
