Yo, just had an entire flock of Kookaburra's show up in and around my back yard.  Thought I'd just share in case some of you have missed out on hearing them.

Yes I was pleasantly surprised by them.  It's common to see one or two around my area in the afternoon or morning but there were so many.  We also have flocks of 100+ Galahs flying around which I want to get some footage or pictures of.  They are the most stunning bird I've come across.
